Cold cuts

03Jul09

Picture 2This has been our radar for couple of months now, but we only just got around to downloading Coldplay’s free live album LeftRightLeftRightLeft, and its nine tracks have been pleasantly distracting us around here at Asgood & Better all day.

Whether or not you like the band, it’s interesting to watch the evolution of the music industry as labels transition from high profit margins on album sales to giving the records away for free and charging more for the bands’ live experiences. Ever since the release of Radiohead’s In Rainbows we’ve been watching with interest, and it’s surely not all sorted out yet. We’re looking forward to seeing what comes next.

If you’re into the band, click the butterfly above and check out the album (its always fun to listen to a singalong with 10,000 people). And if you’re looking for a laugh, check out the two clips below from one of our favorite episodes of Ricky Gervais’ Extras, featuring Chris Martin.
